El Medano is only a 10-15 minute taxi ride away from the airport, yet it is quiet and peaceful and there is no annoying air traffic passing by. There are many nice restaurants and cafes here. A good selection of clothes and souvenir shops, and a sea of surf shops. You will surely find something you like!

If the ticket office is a bit rubbish, check out the remaining places at ving.no Maybe you can afford it anyway? Norwegian and SAS also have several weekly departures to Tenerife south. Some have traveled down on a morning flight, then fly home the next evening. Some would call it luxury? Other well-deserved personal time. It is up to you. The opportunities are out there.
